I guess there's a chance the caller was using VoIP.ms themselves, in which case it will pass through whatever CNAM the caller provides and skip a lookup. Or the caller is using some other VoIP provider that can carry SIP based CNAM into VoIP.ms...
In Canada, even the incumbant LECs and wireless carriers will blindly accept CNAM sent by VoIP.ms and skip a lookup... had some fun calling friends family messing with that.... Oh it's "Darth Vader" or "Santa Claus" in December.
