changed password -> new modem?

Click for full size
I changed my password and subsequently received an email, but the subject line is messed up. The listing shows new modem is being sent, but the email itself has import information.

I bought my own modem about 2.5 years ago too.

When I try to view source, I only see:

Return-Path:

Received: from cmx-alt-rgin011.mx-altice.prod.cloud.synchronoss.net

([10.223.0.40]) by cmx-alt-fep009.mx.internal with ESMTP

when it comes to Alshit, i honestly would not be surprised if another modem is shipped to you and you get charged a monthly fee for it
lately, it seems like Alshit is very aggressive to charge fees across the board.
change your password and ooops, your HFC upstream goes from 35Mbit to 5Mbit (sarcastic )
if you contact them to ask if there is a modem being shipped, i guarantee you that the agent will finagle a way to set up a tech visit for $80

Probably some script stuck the modem thing on there by mistake.

Same here - but this only displays in Webmail, not in my Thunderbird:

You didn't scroll down in the view source window (which uses a ridiculously large font and line spacing), but if you do, this shows up in the HTML source:

We're sending yo=
u a new modem.

Ok, some invisible stuff that someone copy&pasted by accident from what was definitely sourced from a pre-existing message. It should clearly not display - zero-pixel max-height and max-width are being set here.

Ok, I didn't quote that properly as quote, and the site rendered the HTML instead.
It was :

We're sending yo=
u a new modem.</div>

Ok, I give up trying to copy&paste some HTML code here...
