Also, because of a health condition, sometimes I need stuff explained to me more than once.

No one climbed the mast again. I'm waiting for more info. from a better app so we can move forward with this.

Could we clarify a few things?

You're saying that he probably shouldn't rotate the antenna more than 45 degrees?

If the mast is made of bamboo, do I still have him move it away from the mast? I'm assuming no?

Would a skilled person be able to just solder in some type of proper antenna jack? I'm assuming that would make a much better connection than what he's got now?

OR would that not work because the phone would need some kind of circuit to be able to tell that you'd just connected an external antenna and disconnected the internal one?
