Requiring a retransmission fee from cable/satellite companies in this case just looks like "double-dipping" to me!
I say if a network has commercials then they should not be allowed to charge anyone for carrying, streaming, or even rebroadcasting their network and carriers should not be allowed to remove or replace commercials with localized commercials.
The network can charge more for their commercials as they are reaching that many more people.
Networks should be either advertiser supported (commercials) or subscriber supported (commercial free), not both.
