Networking → NAS Reboots when transferring certain file

Does anyone have any experience with NAS rebooting during file transfer? This only happens when the IDS module is enabled and a mimikatz is transferred. Thanks!

Make/model of NAS in question?

What revision of software is it on? Is there an update available?

Any diagnostics / crashinfo available from the NAS?

In the Dumb Question(TM) pile, any indication that it's due to a loose power cord, for instance?

Is it actually rebooting or is the IDS blocking the connection when it sees potentially malicious files being transferred (ie the mimikatz files)
