I got the info about the new version from this website, a German website, which has a translation option, it normally being in a foreign language.

Now available through the internal updater.

The bugzilla thread noted you might need to flush out asus links from history, but it worked fine without doing anything special. They do seem to be working on how to come up with a more permanent fix. If Asus automatically updates their entry in the HSTS list, it will end up being put back into FF unless the programmers remember to remove it every time.

In the latest Bugzilla update, they seem to be adding code to directly exclude asus.com instead of having to manually remove it from the list before compiling the code.

I have noticed with 105 that whenever I start up FF, the text in the address bar is selected/highlighted. Anyone else also see this?

I'm not seeing that in (107), opening up to my restored windows (Session Restore).

Since the latest update [105] when I first open Firefox, the cursor focus is in the address bar!?

From his description, seemingly he is opening to the "default" (whatever that may be, I don't use it) FF "home page" (IOW, with about:preferences -> General -> Startup, Open previous windows is NOT enabled) I see on FF open, cursor is placed into the address bar.

(No idea if it was like that before. [It is that way in 107.)

I see the same behavior in 103.0.1, so it pre-existed 105.
Likewise 91.9. So this certainly is not anything new.

Don't know if there is some pref to change that behavior?

It has been fixed in today's nightly build (107) and it will be fixed in 106 beta 3 coming out any day now. It will be fixed in the next 105 release (105.0.1) on or before October 4th.

BTW it was not introduced before the nightly build on August 10th I believe. 105 is the first stable version to have it. It did not exist in 103 or 91.9.

105.0.1 just came out with a fix.
