Like most other people on have already posted... why don't they just lower prices on the CD's instead of spending the money on stupid ideas like this....

might actually see the CD sales rise, but that wouldn't make sense would it?

I don't know about anyone else, but whenever I get a crappy MP3 or one like the RIAA is shoving out there, it will make me want to find that file even harder.

And make me not want to buy the cd. IF I LIKE THE MUSIC AND THE CD IS A GOOD PRICE I WILL BUY IT TO SUPPORT THE MUSICIAN NOT THE LABEL.

Truth is that a lot of people have gotten used to getting what they want for free. Lower prices are not as good a free.

Yea but I would be willing to pay money to have a real CD if the price was right. From what I've read here, sounds like a lot of people would be willing to do the same

What would be the "right" price? What would you be willing to pay?

I buy the music because I like the artists. What is unfortunate is that the companies have to get in the way of me getting to the artist. I don't mind paying for the music I love.
