FCC Gets an Earful → Re: So who wants to start this group? Let do it.

We would all be willing to start such a group.
But sit and do nothing we haven't.
I personally have written emails, regular letters, etc., to my Congressman (women) and Senators on a variety of subjects, including, and most times concerning broadband.
My rep, Sam Johnson, probably got tired of receiving my prose.
But, he did vote against TD, which I had suggested.
He is one of the few that voted against it.
Anyway, I think most of us agree that Powell and Co. are a corrupt organization, as is most of the federal government bureaucracy. Another advocacy group wouldn't hurt.
What shall we call it?

many of us do this daily we send emails letters and even phone calls. the only way things will change is to wait for the older people taking the kick backs to leave and hope the younger won't follow suit.

will this happen i doubt it.

but it's time to see a change. too many of these goverment officials take kick backs and not enuff care about the people they supposedly represent. they sit in thier chairs using tax payers dollars for everything. they get interns they bone and kill like condit or how ever you spell his name. they blow our hard earned money while they do very little for us the people of this country.

then the businesses do it too. look at the buckeye express debacle this is what they do. waste our money and resources. wish i could change it but the goverment has more then one flawed member.

Well, I am pleased to see so many opinions on my original post here, and I might add some very intelligent opinions at that and of course there were some ill thought posts as well. With that said I would like to point out that in the course of a few days of beating up pup we wasted too much time and we did not become constructive on this issue.

You know I expected that though, without passion you can not find difficult solutions, unfortunately that only serves the current establishment though, so lets clearly talk about what WE can do.

Why don't each of you clearly write some real world solutions here, lets see what you guys come up with.

If we all treat each others idea's with some respect we will come up with a much bigger and better picture as well.
