it seem like im the only person on nbn and hes spying on me, watching my every setp....that was a fast reply from nbn.

Hehehe, very scary if you ask me, LOL. Still unclear about the caps... Oh well, i hope you don't get screwed. Is the service at least good? Pings, speed, uptime?

so far its great, id just dl the new soundblaster live drvier 50mb from sblive.com. it was going at 125k steady, upload is about 14k and did a ping test got 15 on the first hop. down time? not yet. just got it today. im having a hard time to config the email setting for nbn on outlook express.

You mentioned that you got a PCI modem. Any reason why? You know if you decide to share your internet with more computers, this is very difficult with an internal modem. You can't use cheap routers, you have to mess with sharing software, multiple network cards, plus the server computer has to be on for the others to have internet...

what area r u from?

might b ur modem or setting... im using RasPPPoE to connect to net, not with da cd they provided.

wow, i saw the nodes that the nbn connection hits. it doesn't seem to access ne nexxia servers (bell) as far as i can see. did i miss one, or is this a service which doesn't use bell for routing??

I'm from T.O., but NBN isn't my provider. I'm currently with AccessVantage. I've been with them a week. They have this problem. You get disconnected every 8 hours. I'm going to switch if this issue continues.

I got NBN a few days ago and it hasn't worked yet. I called them to check and see if my username and password are correct. Here's a few lines from the conversation:

Me: Hi, I'm a new customer, I would like to verify that my username and password is correct.
guy: Yeah, give me your number and Dave will get back to you.
Me: Ok?

Who the hell is Dave? Why couldn't he look it up? Is this company being ran from someone's basement or something?

Jesus, this company is crap, probably is run from a basement. When I emailed them their replies didnt even have proper identification from the person who replied, etc. Just a reply with some scary info.
