Thanks for the reply. Before I moved I was thinking about selling the TV and getting an HDTV here but it was not worth selling, plus I might go back and if I buy a TV here it is never going to work over there. Most top end TVs, if not all, in Europe will work on all systems, PAL, NTSC, SECAM. I have a European VCR and DVD connected to it and an American XBOX and Cable box. They all work fine. It's only the widescreen thing that bugs me.

About the TV in Europe is better comment. I think they show shit over there too but at least you don't have all those retarded "infomercials". BTW, where do you think they got "American Idol" from ? It was a show called "Pop Idol" in Britain only half a year ago. And believe me, That Simon is not even half the SOB one of the other guys was.
