Use an MP5 in a clan match against a team thats using Colt/AK/AWP and your not going anywhere, I dont care how good you are with it. Now granted you can get lucky if your CT and they rush right at you, but for the most part, clan matches have a lot of long range pick off shooting and not as much face to face action. Thats where MP5s are made useless, in long range battles.

Please don't confuse the term SMG with MP5. Aside from that, there are a good number of other weapons you can carry aside from the primary, which all increase in importance when you use an SMG. For long range, the Deagle, UMP, and HE can be quite effective.

Any SMG are shit in MOST matches. Pubs yea sure you do well cuz its just people running around but in a match they are pretty much worthless. Yes a Deagle is good long range but not against a AK/AWP...
