Really being a bit idealistic the bastards own everyone running.Answer me this if you have a job that pays at best on the books 150k+ a year do you borrow 2-5 mil to win a rep or sen seat then of course you don't owe that money to any one right of course not just the occasional favor.Look if your going to vote figure out who is paid by somebody you like then vote cuz whatever comes out of their mouths is pablum for the masses means d**k in the real world.

I'm not sure what you are asking. All I know is when you're not voting nothing happens. At least when you vote one of these bad seeds out some change is instigated. You can go on and on about how ALL politicians care nothing about the people. I find that to be more unrealistic than my "idealism". There are politicians out there who do want to do what's right. If there weren't then the U.S. would be in a LOT worse shape than it is now. Voting is one of the few voices we have in this country that counts. You can sit on the bench and expect the worst without doing anything about it. I won't.

Their only interest is self interest the country is not in a lot worse shape in spite of them not because of them.
