<description><![CDATA[Bender2000 posted : Perhaps this is a quality control problem at GVC.  Some modems work, some don't.  When something is mass produced, there are always defects which normally get sidelined by quality control tests.  Perhaps this 3mbit defect got past GVC's quality control dept.  That would explain why there seems to be people who it works for, and people that it doesnt work for.]]></description>

Since they dont use Alcatel chips, I bought a Speedstream 5360 and will get it soon.
