But..

Why can't we download the Microsoft Java VM anymore?

personally, I can't stand Sun's VM... it always hogs RAM in my experience, and just puts the machine in a stupor... not to mention it likes to take IE down when it (Java VM) crashes, and won't shut off when i stopped using any Java.

You can get MS' JVM from here:
»download.microsoft.com/d ··· vx86.exe

The latest MS JVM is also included with XP SP 1 and possibly Win2k SP 3.

It'd be great if MS made an interface that allowed Java applets could be run through .NET.
