Well, they are threatening Fortune 500 Companies, I dont know if you read that article on the DSLR homepage a few weeks ago.

Ah yes, IBOC. It will be sad when AM DX'ing becomes impossible. I still like tuning in distant AM stations at night in the Summer.

As for billing, I wish CV had an easier billing system such as being able go directly to my credit card by signing up online. Right now, I drop it off once a month at their Lindenhurst office. Not really a hassle but it would be one less check I would have to write.

I see nothing wrong with OOL finding new products to deliver over their pipeline. My take is that new demands on broadband will keep companies investing in Internet infrastructure which will benefit us all in the long run.

fell for? i guess it depends on how much you are in the car, some people are in their car for only a few minutes in a day, i'm in the car 10-15 hours per week...

I already do "PAY BILLS" online through my bank...I don't have to log onto individual accounts i.e. Cablevision, Verizon, SNET etc...I just log onto my banks site and tell them to pay what bills with a few click.

I would, and did... I love my XM radio almost as much as OOL... once you have it, you can never go back... it's just that good. it's not only commercial free, it is all digital

LISTENING to music has always been free (except for the initial cost of equipment i.e. Radio/Stereo etc)...why start paying to LISTEN to it now?

BINGO! There is a lot of C R A P that they have problems giving away in stores you can burn but most of the good songs you can only listen to. I got Winamp3 at work and I get to listen to all I want for free and when that ends, I got more than enough free mp3's thanks to napster and K-Lite to last me longer than I need.

Hey, RIAA, sell me some new music at a fair price as a download and then I'll bite.

When you say d/l I guess you mean d/l the song to the player for listening, yes? Every way I tried so far to actually d/l a song to keep a message comes up with a "not downloadable" message. Also I notice the program is over 100MB

It doesn't appear that you can, but I don't think it would be very difficult to record it with a differant program, and then convert the file into MP3 or WMA format...

Maybe. But depending on the length of the songs a 650 or 700 MB CD might be able to hold 20 or more tracks. Now you're up to $20 and you haven't factored in the cost of the blank CD, jewel case, etc. What about the CD artwork? And don't forget about that monthly fee. It all adds up.
