Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance comes out tomorrow.
I have mine reserved at E.B. so ill let you guys know how it is by lunch i hope.

the only thing people liked about it were the fatalities. The fighting sucked real bad.

There is a movie clip here... it looks real fun but the fighting genre of games has been played to death already...

tell me about it, it was nothing like the street fighter II (of course they really beat that game to the ground too)

But I mean MK1 and MK2 (which I consider was one of the better ones) everyone almost had the same moves other than different specials.

But still I am a sucker for fighting games, so if anyone pick it up please give a honest and fair review for it so I know whether to even bother with it.

Mortal Kombat 2 was the best so far IMO ...... i hope they can go back to that kind of gameplay......i too want to hear the review from non game magazine people.

I have been playing it for a couple hours now and this game is great.
You have 3 fighting styles per fighter. All switchable on the fly.
The arenas look good.
The game play is very good.
Lots of extras.
This is just my opinion but this game is a lot better than Tekken 4.
Tons of extras as well..including the making of MKDA..A MK history lesson and more.
I haven't had time to find many fatalities yet but I'm sure you can find them somewhere on-line if you really want to.
If you like a good fighter with some variety then i recommend this game.

Man I was so happy because I was going to pick up SC and Mortal Kombat. I called at like 1:00pm and the lady said only SC arrived and MK was supposed to arrive later on today. Now she told me that there was some problems with the shipping of MK....NONE of the stores here in P.R have a copy of the game. Well only one store got 8 ps2 copys but that's nothing. I'll have to wait until tomorrow after school :S Oh well I still got SC
