Tzu posted : I got a question. I've two machines both running the same os.(win98). Both are connected to a router that share a line. Now, the funny thing is one box whenever I do a reboot(occasionally) I get the message that windows is updating the configuration, with the same type of "continuing to update windows" message just as it would when I install a new program and it instructs me to reboot. I dont get it ..This has been going on for some time now, and it starts back even after a clean reinstall of the entire system,(at one time it never did this) the other machine never has done that except when I have installed a new program. Anybody plz tell me whats going on?
