Yeah the frame rate on the xbox is horrible. There are fans of the xbox and superior hardware and all, but go in Halo stand on the beach, look up at the sky and just spin around you will see how jumpy it gets. The PS2 is much smoother. People forget that the xbox is only a 32bit system running at a high mghz. Microsoft will have to do better on their next system.

I get 60 fps slid, the graphi9cs are the best, especially with the svideo pack, it runs in 1024x768(and up), its not 32 bit, its 256 technically, ps2 is jaggy, undetailed, and low fps, xbox2 has already been announced, and no lag on LIVE

You don't seem to be considering the fact that the game was not made for netplay. The netcode was created fully for lan play, not on the net. You can't just put it on the net and expect it run to well with more than maybe 2 people, and that's only with low latency.

Yeah but if that was the case then why are they doing Halo 2 where a great multitude of players can participate in online play. The netcode was not in the game, but it could be easily downloaded from the web. There have been many "updates" that I have had to download in order to play xbox online.

I find it even funnier when FPS games are ported to consoles. Games that are strictly keyboard and mouse, being played with a joystick ! Sure...
