I was going to get BOOL I had a rep coming to the office to sign me up.
I currently pay for 2 cable modems...I got capped.
I work with databases HUGE files that I send back and forth to work and home to get work done on weekends and stuff.
Well, I was going to go for the BOOL to avoid any problems but, the Rep told me today that I would get capped anyway and that I should just try to break up my uploads a bit so that they aren't all at once.
Well, if I am will to pay $100 for BOOL then I shouldn't have to worry about getting capped.
The damn REP told me that I should stay with the 2 modems and try to avoid getting cought; she seemed annoyed with the entire thing.
Not too many Techs AT CV are happy with this capping sh*t either.
I am telling you all, I have a freind that works there and he is getting grief for trying to find out more info to tell to him customers that are ready to kill him.
STOP siding with CV you are pissing people off. If someone is having a problem with service, it is only becuase CV didn't properly configure that region or you just have crap wires in your house. I have 2 drops from the pole straight to my modems and I peg both at 9999 on the speed check on optonline.net speedcheck site. AT THE SAME TIME!
