Ringtones?

I have Motorola v60i cellular phone, and I was wondering is there a site where i can get free keytones of popular songs that i can input?

Any site will do, as long as its FREE!

*in other words, those with cell phones, where do you get your free keytones from?* (Motorola only)

Re: NEW PHONE!!!

Are you sure it supports polyphonic ringtones?

I have just the regular v60g and it's doesn't, to the best of my knowledge anyway.

its those editable ones where u press 1, 2, 3 or whatever number, and a note comes up

like a free composer, u pick the notes that it plays

but i need a site that gives a note sheet

for example

like these sites, but im asking if they're more sites like this...

Re: Ringtones?

I use this converter, »www.srtware.com/index.ph ··· rter.php

To convert RTTL to the style that works on my C331g.

I found a way to format/send SMS text message that contains a ring tone to my Motorola V60i (AT&T Wireless TDMA) phone.

find a site that sends PLAIN SMS text messages... like.. »www.mobile.att.net/messa ··· ecenter/ ... the from and subject lines are NOT important... the body must start with BEGIN:IMELODY and end with END:IMELODY in their entirety.. any missing part of END:IMELODY and it will come across as just a plain text message.

Example.. for the sound of the phone ringer in Jurasic Park 3 (you know that "satelite phone" ringer that the dinosaur swallowed) send an sms message to your phone with the following as the body.....

BEGIN:IMELODY
VERSION:1.2
FORMAT:CLASS1.0
MELODY:*4g3*4e3*4f4*4e4*4d3*4c3*4g3*5c3*4c3r0
END:IMELODY

When it comes to your phone you can "save tone" then go into "My Tones" and change its name.

Keep in mind, that sending this way is limited on how many characters the ringer can be...

BTW, this is a good way to "copy" ringers from a friend's phone... Look at his/her My Tones, "edit" it and type those characters into an SMS message formated like the body above, then wham! you have it on your phone much faster than typing it in on your phone's key pad.

This is also a useful way to "back up" your ringers.

Motorola V60I - TDMA, CDMA, or GSM? That makes a difference.

If the site is still up - www.supermegaphone.com had a great site for TDMA phones! And it was free. That's where I got all my tones for my Nokia!
