Canadian Broadband → Optimal MRU in ON

I was wonderin what should my MRU on my modem should be?

Its currently set to 1492, which was picked by the modem's default settings.

You mean MTU...

Well if it ain't broke, don't fix it. 1492 will work for most people, although some on "different" equipment may need to use 1454, but I haven't heard of this in quite a while.

MTU: Maximum Transmit Unit (Tx)
MRU: Maximum Receive Unit (Rx)

They should always match.
