Comcast XFINITY → lost 256 up?

dont know what happened, but i seem to have lost my 256 upload limit, and so have a few of my other freinds. i did a full 5 min power down form my modem and reconnected it and it shows 125 up. here's my current speed:

Seems like broadband .. above the 1mbit barrier!

anyone else expeirencing this? if comcast did this BAD IDEA.

Im at a crawl with speeds since 3 pm and was down all night but was fine this morning i cant even run a test but if thats why were at a crawl now if there taking us back to 128 im placing my sbc dsl order today for 1.5/256 I was about to the week of the 6th when we got the increase is the only reaseon I stayed and the low 128 was the main reason I was leaving lplus the less than 3.5 meg email atachment limit I can live with that though. sbc R/t just made operational 1,480 ft fro me and im ready to order if im gonna be1.5/128 they need to let us know whats going on if theres gonna be another series of transition problems or if my speed isnt back up by tommorow morning with the same 1.5/256 by comcast im ordering sbc1.5/256 tommorow morn if i dont today. Then again theres rumors everybody will get the 256 FEB 1st it's on certain area's bills about the 256 increase but I dont like being left in the dark like this im heading to sbc forum if I can manage to get there.

Does anyone realize that they have been TESTING the 256 upload in certain sections of the Midwest?

I lost my 256 upload too.

I realize that my new bill says my rate increases from 39.95 to 42.95 says is "due to improvements due to the system such as raising the upload to 256 and doubling the email box" So testing? where do you get your information on that or do you mean it's being tested until FEB 1st then the it's officially released?

I have lost my 256 up too.

If I understood, the testing was completely random, and most people lost the 256k upload a few days after they got it.

ok cool whatever the problem in my area is gone now as of after 4 pm and didnt lose my 256 upload during WHATEVER was going on.

I have resynched only because i ot a new Befw11s4 wireless and had to move things sround to my likeing, it was a few day ago I resynched within 2-3 days of getting the file havent since but the 1 time setting up the router and moving the modem.Starks sis u ever get the file? did u lose it? everyone i know friends/family members have not lost it but I told them not to resynch and they havent.

if u call comcast u will still get a message that the Detroit area is being worked on im back to par downloading but surfing having a little lag look at this test while I was at a crawl earlier compared to the test I just ran 10 pm not to bad still haven't lost my up knock on wood again

If this isnt worked out and 256 stays Im placing my dsl order with sbc Mid Feb at the latest for there 1.5256 package 49$ free use of modem free self install!
that really sux u guys losing the 256 I really think you will get it back mid Feb at he very latest though,now i've got this dam lag Mid Feb yep that's all im givin em
hmm must be a problem routing to dslr just came back in the office to finish somthing from this morning only getting the lag on dslr now
