RobDice posted : Why did you change your RWIN? In your previous post, your RWIN was at 44620, then it went to 356,960 and now its at 372,296. Try this. Download DRTCP(if you haven't already done so) from the top of the Tweaks forum page and open it. Set TCP Receive Window(RWIN) to 32767, everything else at Default, Max Duplicate ACKs and TTL Blank. Since you're with BellSouth, I assume you use PPPoe to connect(you have to sign on like a dialup connection) so your MTU should be at 1492. In Adapter Settings, find your modem and click on it. That will activate the MaxMTU box, into which you can enter 1492. Tab down to Apply and click, Exit, Reboot, do another tweak and speed test and post them here.
--
»www.zeropaid.com
All work and no play makes Rob a dull boy!

daveyboi posted : Well, what are the speeds that you are paying for from you ISP? If it is 1500/128 or 1500/384, you'll never reach 50 times faster than a modem. BTW your Receiving windows is too high.

Dave
