bull doodoooooooooooooooothats a good thing dont you think to throw a college kid in jail for downloading a file? real american like if ya ask me.why even invest in technology if the government is going to punish just about every 1 in th usa for using it?cmon now every person that i know has downloaded somthing off the net so what this is saying is we can go to jail for 3 years because our government wants a piece of the pie? we shouyld be a communist country if this is the way its going to be there makin a bigger deal outta this then it should be but then again its just my thoughts....lol |

feh... buy CD's. If you like the artist go ahead and support them. Don't let anybody, including the RIAA, tell you what to buy. If you really want to support the artist go see one of their concerts, buy the t-shirts, better yet buy the CD's sold at the shows. There is no point in not supporting the artist because of who they are signed with. |

Unless you wanted to get the message to that artist that the label they are signed under is part of a monopolistic regime, and that you refuse to support them as long as they help to oppress consumers and artists. There are some successful and respectable musicians in the mainstream. They have the capability of creating a real alternative to the established corporate music industry. We could tell them with a boycott that we won't tolerate this bullshit anymore. |
