Team Helix → [INFO] The Stats may look a bit broken

Hello my friends

Some of you might have noticed that the 'local stats page' that is linked in the forum header (I'm talking about this page) may list some strange data.

I have been messing around with the scripts that are (automatically) generating these stats in the last few hours:

- I've made some scripts faster
- I've combined some script to use things more efficiently

And last but not least I've added something new that should work fine from now on:



For this I have to thank two people a lot:

Den - After asking him about the possibilities, Den implemented a bit of extra code to his well-known stats system that generates two plain text files with the names of new members. This saved me a lot of time and the need to keep a second database. Den, you're one of the best!!!

FKrooG2 - He came with the question and suggestion if it was possible to have a list with new members next to the stats that are already shown in the page linked above. He asked me quite some time ago, but I just didn't have the time to fix this. Last but certainly not least: FKrooG2 is also offering the web-hosting and the bandwidth to keep all of this running!

What a team don't you think?

• The stats pages should return to normal after a short while.
• The new member image *should* be able to function without problems now..but I'll keep an eye on it in the near future just in case

If you click on the Stats link on the Main Forum Page, you should see it in action. (That is, if I did it correctly )

I'm already glad I can post a thread like this and seeing that you guys enjoy this latest creation

mr-sean is actually Icarusflys....I wonder what ever happened to him....

He's around, but I think he may have been injured. Has a big bandage on his head and his eyes are very strange.

Hes been re-treaded retired for some time now. Last I heard he was tending to his poppies in obscurity in some small middle eastern border town.

Poppies! I din't know he had poppies! I thought he had killer cats!
