When you use certain news servers, Rover can use the indexing servers for threads. I have not played with it too much, but when i did, it works very well. You can also set up Interest Groups and Rover will scan NGs looking for things you like. This works for songs, pics, binaries, etc. I used to be a die hard Agent user and switched to Rover after playing with it for a while. It really is a great program. Give it a try. The trial is free.
