I just called and spoke to someone named Wanda @ billing, and inquired about the dsl speed upgrade. She knew exactly what i was talking about, and proceded to do the line test.
After about 5 mins, she confirmed my address, and said I was aproved. In fact she said, im 3,000 ft from the telco w00t!!!, she even laughed and said "you are gonna have a great connection"
. She genuinly sounded happy for me, lol. I told her I lived in midtown manhattan and there are like 5 verizon building east and west of me (within a mile). Anywho she said 5 business days.
BTW i've been a verizon/bellatlantic customer for something like 4 years, and she had my old aol email account lol. oh, and they never did upgrade me to 728 from 640 even though i asked them to change it 3 times over the last year, i'm happy this went a lot smoother.
