You are correct, but Earthlink is Earthlink, not a "RoadRunner" provider.
EarthLink simply uses Time Warner LINES. Time Warner owns the lines, not Road Runner. Look at the forum intro.
Road Runner is provided by SEVERAL cable companies. Not just Time Warner.
I also asked the Earthlink rep about this and she told me they have NO PLANS to cap bandwidth.
As you know, I am in Greensboro. We go through the SAME Franchise. (triad.rr.com) My routing hasn't changed, only my IP and provider.
I have had Bellsouth DSL in our area, it is crap compared to Cable.
