Hellllooo! Doesn't anyone realize one of the problems with BA DSL service is the Technicians in TEXAS. The NY dsl equipment is monitored by Techs in Viginia. So you have a problem..and call Texas...they call Virginia...and then they call Buffalo NY... Buffalo has to get someone local to look into the problem...oh.... no problem here...trouble goes back to Virginia..and all the while you the customer can only speak to poorly trained Techs.. in Texas....Who cant help you... get the picture..
Can you ever imagine having to call Texas for your local phone service or a billing problem. This is what Verizon wants to do. The union is trying to stop it and keep the work in NY.
By the way bklynwolf... most of the DSL work is not handled by Union people.
To Cyborg6 ...I agree with you totally...cutting cables is Wrong...and it bothers me greatly that people will do this...
