From what I've read Verizon Online has one of the best news servers as far as ISPs go. The ATTBI retention was really poor. I'm looking forward to when we get switched to giganews, even though its only 1 gig a month the retention is really good, plus its a free gig. Right now I'm using easynews which has great retention for binaries and I'm always downloading from the servers at around 1.5mbps, but its $10 a month or every 6 gigs which can go by pretty quick. |
