Re: Strike's Over and...the sticking point issss.
Back in 1989 during the last strike. The mid-atlantic CWA union members were not willing to hold out for issues that we wanted up here. They settled for less. Now they basically have to stand up and fight for themselves now. Union members dictate what they will settle for to there bargaining unit. We respect them ...and honor there picket lines..and wish them all the best.But we dont have to stay out of work for them...We lost more wages fighting for what we wanted in 1989. Mid Atlantic CWA members understand this. Yes ...we are one company now... But the past just doesn't disappear.
