Battle.net/1 Static IP/Win98 ICS

Hey all!

I don't know if this is way off the topic, but here I go anyways.

I am trying to play Starcraft on Battle.net with multi-computers/players with one IP address. I have Win98SE ICS set up for NAT.

I read on Bnet that there are problems with that since they expect each player to have specific individual IPs.

Does anyone know how to get around this with Win98SE ICS? I want to be able to play the same game with people at my IP or home LAN.

Any help would be appretiated.

There is a post in alt.games.starcraft, on 13th Jan, that claims starcraft works behind NAT as implemented by SYGATE, including "4 of us playing with private IP addresses connected to a hub to a 4th computer routing us to the internet .. we played with 3 other people out on b.net".
He claimed it twice, because someone expressed disbelief.

There is also this post: click here

And finally this one, which concludes Sygate rules:

So if Battle.net opens more ports, people should be able to use NAT or Proxy using one IP address and stuff right?

Not really - it isnt really battle net as much as it is starcraft (or Diablo is another problem).
The answer is: download and try Sygage, and get rid of ICS. It will work in your situation.
