Microsoft → [XP] custom bootscreens.. always ugly..

i've just tried some custom bootscreens for the first time, and they are always all stretchy and ugly looking.

are they always like this, or am i just getting some lame ones?

All are stretchy and ugly looking because 1) the display driver loaded at that time can only display 16 colors (as opposed to viewing millions in Windows with correct drivers) and 2) all bootscreens are stretched atleast twice (or close to) their original size.

Looking at a WinME boot screen, it's 320x400.
