Warcraft III woes help!?!??!!?!comp specs: Athlon 800, Radeon 7200 64DDR, Windows 2000 pro......512mb SDram I ran Warcraft III before off of this rig same copy and it ran fine, but now every time I try to reinstall this it works out just fine but the video and gameplay graphis care horrible corrupt. There are lines in characters and the backgrounds are worse. I've installed the latest drivers for my graphics card and am using the latetst Direx X but this was happening both before and after the upgrades. I'm really frustrated because i've installed this game before and now it works but is barely audilbe Anyone got any ideas? Fresh of a clean install of my OS i'm stunk.... The latest build that was released on 9/04/03....I've installed numerous upgrades over the years and probably haven't uninstalled the old ones probably might that have something to do with it? Mind you that I had this game playing smoothly on this same machine a few months ago...now i'm at a loss. |

Right click the Warcraft 3 FT icon and add "-opengl" (without quotes) after the Target this lets you play in openGL try that and see if things work out |

i have radeon 7500, and it works, but maybe it requires T&L ... i dont think the 7200card has T&L support though. |

I couldn't get that to work how do I do that exactly? "C:\Documents and Settings\TEMP\Desktop\Frozen Throne.exe"- opengl I tried adding it like this without the space, with a space, without parenthesis's it keeps saying it's not valid ???I'm stuck...argh. |

Don't use the "quotes" try the following line C:\Documents and Settings\TEMP\Desktop\Frozen Throne.exe-opengl |

still no luck, i can't figure it out...I tried the OpenGl but it didn't change anything...i guess perhaps my Radeon is dying out but it still works fine for other games or at least it did, i really don't play to many pc games anymore...any more ideas anyone? |
