Wireless Service Providers → Could anyone recommend book etc.?

Hey, I'm looking for a good tech book/paper on the finer points of traffic shaping. All the material I've found so far is rather cryptic and read between the lines if ya know what I mean. Would like something that would teach me a good rule of thumb and inner workings of such.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated as always.
