Time to ditch Windows IE? → How do you uninstall firebird?

I tried it and I'm trying hard to like it, but so far, its been just horrible for me. Every few minutes it crashes and closes...I have to restart everything. Java doesnt' work either.

Theres no uninstall option and its not even listed in my Add/Remove programs list. Do I just delete the unzipped folder? What about the registry entries and stuff?

Just delete the zipped folder.

It shows up in my Add/Remove programs list. Soulds like you have an incomplete install.

I recommend you download and install it again. You might find that it works then and wont want to uninstall it.

No there is a special package/executable installer and a manual extraction installation method. If you just unzipped the folder and used MozillaFirebird.exe, and you want to uninstall it just delete that folder. If you used the package installer you uninstall from the "Add/Remove Programs".

Yea if you get it to work again keep Firebird, its much better than IE, in my opinion though it seems to load pages a little slower, but think of less security issues
