Unix and Linux → Opera 5.0 final version

It has been released but still no java as far as I can tell

I got it other day. Really impressive. Well compared to Netscape anyway. Shame about the java. I read the ZDnet article and they were claiming that it was going to be on par with the Windows version. Oh well guess we have to wait for the next version.

Side question. I experience a (what I consider), bizarre behavior in Opera 5b8 that I was hoping someone could help me with.
Go to a web site, click links, etc. Use the M- keystroke combo (I hate mice ), and then try to use the arrow keys to scroll down. What happens to me (sometimes), is the little Opera icon on the menubar pops down (instead of the page scrolling, which is the behavior I would expect. Hmmmmm.

Also, I am unable to log on to dslreports.com while using Opera (I have to switch to the 'bloated' browser to log on.) I have enabled cookie setting from dslreports.com domain, but no dice.

Any help is appreciated.

Can't help with your first problem, sorry. For the 2nd one though, DSLR and Opera don't seem to get along perfectly with me either. When you try and login, does DSLR return a message like "your browser returned no (??) data" ?? If so, keep trying -- it will eventually work. I've had the same/similar problem with posting and replying to forum messages here. You often have to hit Preview a few times before it "takes". And then you have to do the same with "Post Now". DSLR complains that you didn't provide a "Catchy title". Luckily, you can hit the backspace key w/o losing your form input and keep trying.

I did a feedback to Justin or whoever reads the "Feedback" messages but got no response....
