I've been having intermittent problems as well...in Bryn Mawr
Mine seem to be related to the phone line. Whenever someone picks up the phone it seems to stall for a while.
Been happening for a few days, will check it out with Verizon soon.

I'm new to Dsl...does static in the line affect the Net like on dial up?
