Had a problem with rebates, found out that you are only allowed one rebate per envelope. I sent two in one envelope and they only can accept one (They choose the lower doller amount). Had to resubmit the second one. |

Funny...the 200G Seagate is OOS at outpost.com..i just called..maybe more in on Monday..but the DG Fry's "has plenty" in stock. I hope "plenty" means they have some when i drive all the way there. |

I've noticed that when they say plenty they usually do. I mean dozens and dozens kinda plenty and not just 5 or 10. if you want I can hobble over there tomorrow and double check for you. besides I only live 5 minutes away  |

No, the DG Fry's has it for $109 - $30 rebate and is not in their ads. The CA stores ads list it and sell it for $99 - $30 rebate. I asked an associate it they would honor the CA ads, he said " No, each store is different in it's pricing policies." It would be nice to see it for that price again, I'd grab a bunch more. |

A friend of mine was there first thing, and they still had "a bunch" left. If you are worried about it, give them a call tomorrow morning. I'm sure you won't have a prob at all. As far as the case goes. The reason that Fry's can charge more for it, is because that is the way business goes. maybe it costs them $5 more per case to ship it to Illinois. If you have a prob with it, talk to one of the guys there, ya never know what you will get out of it. |

First, a major THANK YOU to SKORPIO! You're developing a fan club, here in Milwaukee... we've now made three pilgramages because of your posting the ads... and this leads into a couple of questions...
Is there a new ad for Friday? Some friends and I are thinking that it would far more enjoyable of a Friday if we drove to DG, rather than trying to get any work done...
Also, does anyone know for sure if their ads are uniform across the chain? Or do they vary from region to region; I know I've heard mention of non-sale price diffs at different locations.

Dingleberry here at DG ad comes out(so far anyway) every Friday(good for Fri-Tues) Mon(good for Mon, Tues yes they overlap with friday lap but with some diff items) Wed(good for Wed, Thurs) Fry's Ad do vary from region to region, we don't get the same ad as westcoast, and then I think even west coast have their own regional sale ad(say Northern Cal and Southern Cal with differnt item for sale) Price aren't exactly "hot deals" now that the grand opening sale is over, still pretty good price assuming you want/need the sale item, but no longer I gotta buy it because its so cheap even though I don't really need it |
