It must have come back sometime in the last hour...I was watching a DVD, came back to the PC and service was back...I'm absolutely amazed and I must say I'm very happy that service was restored in a relatively short period of time.

I called up earlier when it first went down. They told me an ATM switch was down. Whether or not that's true, I don't know, but it makes sense...
