Call T-Mobile and ask if they can unlock it for you, or purchase a data cable and find an unlocking program. |

Actually, it depends on what service from AT&T you have/had on the phone. If it's GSM then the phone will have to support the 1900 freqency as that is all T-Mobile uses. More than likely if you had AT&T's GSM, it'll support both 850 and 1900. If you're AT&T TDMA, then you have to buy a new phone. |

NS4683, I'm not aware of a T720 that is TDMA...only a GSM and a CDMA model.
Rasif, the only three ways to get that unlocked is: 1. To call ATT. 2. Buy a data cable and unlocking software. 3. Purchase the code from one of the stores online. |

unlock means that the phone can only be used with the carrier it was made for, like if u have t-mobile it will only work for tmobile till u unlock it, and yes prefere to take the sim out, P.S. how much u wanna sell it for ? |

If I unlock the cellphone the buyer will have to pay more then. Anyway, I prefer to sell it like it is right now. I have no idea for how much I wanna sell it, may be 50 maybe 100 I dont know, I'll check out some auctions on ebay and I'll probably post it for a cent and no reserve and see how it goes. |

I think if I go to any local cell phone stores they should be able to unlock it for me instead of buying code n cable if they charge 5-10 bucks still fair deal...Isn't it? |
