It does still say registered.

The only log entry of note is what I mentioned: Something to the effect of my content filtering being disabled because my subscription had expired.

I'm bummed that you'd reported this, but tech support seemed completely unaware of the issue.

It probably hasn't made it down to tech support yet as they (meaning the engineers) are likely still looking into this to see what is causing the problem so they can give a solution or work around to the tech support guys. I suspect they will have something soon as I know they are working on it as we speak (working hours in Taiwan).

My notes say the same happened to me with a Silver Card (didn't do trial). I disabled and reenabled content filtering and it started working immediately.

Also, when registering with Silver Card I had choice of picking today or tomorrow (this was last week, forgot exact dates). At first I chose today and after hitting submit button it said that was invalid date. Set it for tomorrow and registration completed successfully. Sorry I don't have more detailed notes. As I said, sounds similar to your experience. Try disabling then enabling CF and see if it starts working. I had it working within a couple minutes. Hope that helps.
