ISDN → Re: Pings and things

I live in Australia and am thinking of getting ISDN instead of 56k... for the gaming only. All you guys recomend it? thanx alot mates

ISDN is effectively 3-5 times faster than dialup, and the ping times are much faster, which makes surfing zip along. I'm not a gamer, but I understand that a lot of games run great on ISDN. Here are some of my ping times to various sites:

My experiences with ISDN has also been great, aside for the installation nightmare. I consistantly get sub 100 pings for CoD, BF1942, and Vietcong. I also am getting better pings for Ultima Online and haven't had a lag kill since I've started using ISDN. I've only had one diconnect caused by the connection itself since it was installed mid-December. I'd highly reccomend it to any online gamer that wants to get a better gaming experience.

I dont think the ingame ping rate in black hawk down is very accurate.
