This refers to those that use Usenet as a playground for warez, music and other things that are shared to avoid paying for them. This was never envisaged when Usenet was devised and actually has ruined the service for those that have an interest in the text only files. For the last few weeks there has been no caps on the service from Giganews. With effect last night a 5 Gb cap has been implemented which for a residental service is in my view VERY generous.
There will of course be those who think otherwise.
