The dish is almost a spitting image of a Direct TV dish. The only difference between them is the hardware that attach's to the dish.

No. Your direct TV dish is pointing out into space, and our dish is pointing to the nearest local mountain with signal. They both are looking for different signal types and it wouldn't matter if they were right next to each other.
"3. Do I pay surveyor after he/she is done or will Ether bill me?"
If Etheric does do a survey, you must be READY to sign up for service if they have LOS (line of site) from your house to there transmission towers. You cant order a survey to be done, and find out you have LOS and say "OK, i just wanted to see if i could get it" They do not operate like that. I not sure what the billing is for the survey.
"4. Is Ether compatible with Xbox Live?"
I don't see any reason why not. Im sure it will work fine with your Xbox. You can choose between static and/or DHCP
