They are asking for a copy of a bill with personal information on it and may resell that information to other companies - a big no-no in my book. Does SBC privacy policy apply to this company?

And with them posting in this forum - isn't that advertising for their own company not SBC? This may throw doubts into some people wanting to purchase DSL through SBC.

To correct the above statement, SBC is requesting the bills, not the affiliate, affiliates refer sales to SBC via the approved SBC affiliate program. Bascially not to far different than the SBC referral program for SBC employees.

We did not start this thread and was only trying to clear up the misunderstanding that has been created.

Okay - I understand why SBC would ask for a bill - I would have no problem faxing or sending a copy of my cable bill (with the playboy orders blacked out ) Are we faxing a copy of it to you FSMGROUP and then are you re-faxing it to SBC, or are we sending a copy DIRECTLY to SBC?
