packet8 down?...Packet8 wasn't letting me make any outgoing calls...so I recycled the DTA, picked it up, and no dialtone... Anyone else have this problem? |

half the time I can't get a link to them.. :@ I got it up, made one phone call... and then it went down again  Blah... I barelly use packet8 anymore, and each time I do, it seems to die on me.... :\ I think I might try voiceplus or another service |

just dialed 408-pop-corn, and it worked  Also paged my g/f.... it worked also. Link light is blinking steady when the phone is off sometimes... guess they aint stable now. I think I'll wait 5-10 mins for them to fix things before I make a call... |

I went in again and took reliabily and support down another notch on my review of thier service. Suport of course is closed. If its anything like the issue they had last week, Its not coming back till they get in the office tomorow morning. |

Both in & outgoing calls down here in Cincy, OH at 8:30 PM EST. Outgoing just silence and when I call my P8 number from the PSTN after about 1 min. get a fast busy.
EDIT: P.S. Get dial tone on outgoing but also after about 1 min. get a fast busy.
2nd EDIT: P.P.S. Wonder if this is related to "Virtual Office"? |

Look at the bright side, at least they didn't kill incoming and outgoing at one time seriously, I just ordered the service, (still waiting on UPS) and am having serious second thoughts. I wanted to compare it to broadvox and broadvoice. even BVD sounds better that this.... |

I'm always defending them also.or $20... it is still a great service... but for the extra money, I'd rather get a more reliable one... I'm tired of my g/f trying to call me and it not working, it makes her give up... and that was the only reason I bought this anyways. I'll be switching at least one ofmy packet8 accounts to another provider. |

I'm thinking of going with www.broadvoice.com... They don't have the exchange I want However, it says coming soon. I'm thinking of canceling my second line... using them, having a inbound from where she lives... and just usiong this one when they go down... Then if I like it, and when they get my area code... eventually get them both |
