Most download sites for games/demos/p2p networks won't come close to supporting that type of d/l speed unless you plan on downloading multiple files from different sources. Even still, you'd be hard pressed to get those speeds, for your download speeds to be useful at 6mb, other p2p users/download sites will have to be able to support faster uploads.
--
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. --- Edmund Burke
Kill your TV, then Internet Explorer: »www.mozilla.org

Black_Flag posted : Wrong. Verizon is always going to be last when unveiling new speed upgrades... they love to hold onto the same old same old until people either threaten to leave, or everyone else is significally faster than they are... which is starting to be the case with them.

technick posted : I've been waiting for this....

But I feel Bellsouth is always going to be the last to upgrade with new products such as this. I really think they should come out with something better than the other competition to one up them, and make them look good. How about 6 meg service? the ADSL Standard can handle 6 megs. That would really over shadow Comcast, and put them in the lead for having a great product.

I don't know much about the demand aspect, but I know a good 30 people that would subscribe to the highest speed available, with in a reasonable price. So it might be worth looking into.
