Re: NBN has changed plans - passed unnoticed?

That is good to hear it's for the new clients only. Everything seems to be ok now with the connection and logging on, only downloading seem to be throttle or slow should i say.

I hope that no mistakes happen in the billing, though i have a feeling that their will be .

Regardless of not applying to existing users, this throttling is too much.

Not to mention we have no legal recourse if they forget that we are *existing* users. I pay monthly, maybe next month I will be considered a new user or something. Either way, it makes me itchy. And 10 gb? Give me a break, you can probably expend this just streaming high quality mp3 radio.

I guess I'll be switching to sentex for now. They still offer $29 unlimited, and supposedly have good service including giganews usenet. Although magma does look tempting.

Sorry, actually Sentex now charges $35 as well. Magma's $40 a month service now looks even more enticing.

I suppose people here would recommend magma over sentex right? I know they have 30GB/30GB daytime caps as well as 4GB usenet caps, but I wonder if the relability is worth it. All these changing pricing plans of lower cost ISPs don't make me too happy.
