[Speeds] Insight changes upload speeds! Two friends and I now have a 384 upload limit. We are all in Northern Kentucky near Erlanger/Edgewood.
Glad to see this finally happen!
Hopefully the problems of bad latency from the evening hours will also clear up. |

Nothing new here. Maybe these "friends" got "lucky" and came across the plus tier config some how. |

Well, it appears that Insight may be doing it again...charging the "Plus" users an extra $35 for what others are receiving for free. |

Must be nice Yes I could use that , I have VOIP and that's 90k alone and I am wanting to add a 2nd line , so it can go fast. I am hoping and praying for a 768 upgrade to the plus some moon , but I maybe holding my breath and die first. |

"Yeah but can you really use that bandwidth?" Don't feed the troll. But I will anyway.:) It's been shown time and again in this forum how that bandwidth can be put to legal use. There are new legal services that are introduced daily to put this bandwidth to use. The only thing is. Some of these services compete with Insight in regards to video. I just added a post on my blog about this. More work to be done. |

I wonder if these 384KB in Kentucky are true upgrades, or just some tinkering Insight is doing to test network capacity, etc. Hope it eventually filters down to the rest of us. |

Well, I heard from an anon employee at Insight that they are testing the 384/4000 in the Northern KY area and then in a month or so, they are going to give that to all of the basic tier people and that is also when they are going to up the plus people to the 512/6000. Just a rumor but sounds good to me. |

It always seems to be a month from now. Isn't this what was supposed to already happen for the plus users by now? Yes it is. Maybe the recent survey will get that 512 up to 768 were it should be. It would be great to see the regular tier go up another 128. 384 upload would definitely be more competitive. |

Looks like Insight maybe listening the 384 up on the base tier would defintely help them especially in SBC heavy markets , and let's hope they make the plus tier 768 |
